Founded in the fall of 1899 – currently one of the 50 oldest programs in the United States - founded by Mrs Robert Sayre to honor her son Cecil B Sayre
Began as an all-volunteer base of women in response to men being sent to war and women needing to enter the workforce and provide for their families
Licensed annually by DHS, Department of Human Services
Inspected by both City of Bethlehem Fire and Health Department

PTA Fundraising activity proceeds support on-site summer events, teacher scholarships, family fun events in fall and spring and an art show in conjunction with the Center’s annual open house as well as Teacher Appreciation recognition
Provide an early education and care program that addresses each child’s cognitive, social, developmental emotional, and nutritional needs
Provide before and after school age care, pick up and drop for Bethlehem Area School District’s Lincoln Elementary School, Lehigh Valley Charter Academy and Executive Charter Academy. Full day school age care when public school not in session. Full day summer school age program
Participate in CACFP, Child and Adult Care Food Program allowing us to provide breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack to all children at no additional charge to families.
Sliding scale tuition based on annual gross family income
Hours of Operation – 6:30 a.m – 5:30 p.m
